The Lake Wales33859 calls we answer most often
If your system is doing any of the following, it is worth a diagnostic before the fault gets more expensive.
Skyrocketing utility bills with no change in usage
One or two rooms that never reach the set temperature
Heat pump stuck blowing cold air in heating mode
Thermostat reading several degrees off from reality
Musty or burnt smell the first time the system runs
Pilot light or hot surface igniter failing repeatedly
Heating and air conditioning service built around Lake Wales
Homeowners across Lake Wales call us when the system simply will not keep up. Cooling runs nearly year-round and salt air near the coast corrodes condenser fins and electrical connections. That is why we staff a live dispatch line around the clock instead of routing you to a queue.
Homes in Polk County tend to be a mix of older builds with original ductwork and newer infill construction, which means airflow problems show up very differently from one street to the next.
If your system is over ten years old and you have had two repairs in the last two seasons, a replacement comparison is usually worth running even if the current unit still runs.

Lake Wales33859 HVAC questions, answered
Do you charge extra for nights, weekends or holidays?
No. Our pricing in Florida is the same at 2am on a holiday as it is at 2pm on a Tuesday. Emergency calls are dispatched the same way as scheduled calls and carry no overtime premium.
What brands do you service in Lake Wales?
All of them. Our 33859 technicians are trained on Goodman, Amana, Mitsubishi Electric, Trane and essentially every other residential brand sold in Florida, including discontinued lines. We keep a broad parts catalogue on the trucks for exactly that reason.
Why is my system short cycling?
Short cycling in Lake Wales most often comes from a restricted airflow path — a loaded filter, a closed register, an undersized return — or from an oversized unit. It can also be a failing flame sensor or a pressure switch fault. We measure static pressure and temperature rise before concluding anything, because guessing at this one is expensive.
Is my carbon monoxide risk something I should worry about?
With any combustion appliance, yes. A cracked heat exchanger can spill carbon monoxide into the living space, and it is odourless. We perform combustion analysis and a CO test on every furnace and boiler call in Lake Wales, and we recommend a working CO alarm on every level of the home regardless of who services your equipment.
How often should I change my filter in 33859?
Monthly inspection and replacement every 60 to 90 days is the baseline. Homes in Lake Wales with pets, ongoing construction nearby, or a high-MERV filter in an undersized return should move to monthly changes. A loaded filter is the single most common cause of frozen coils and failed blower motors.
Do you handle ductless mini-split systems?
Yes. Ductless installations have grown quickly in Florida, particularly in older homes without existing ductwork. We service indoor heads, clean filters and drain lines, check line-set insulation and diagnose communication faults between heads and the outdoor unit.
