The Lima45805 calls we answer most often
If your system is doing any of the following, it is worth a diagnostic before the fault gets more expensive.
Refrigerant leak at a flare or coil connection
Squealing or grinding from the blower assembly
Pilot light or hot surface igniter failing repeatedly
Musty or burnt smell the first time the system runs
Short cycling — on and off every few minutes
Outdoor condenser humming but the fan not turning
Heating and air conditioning service built around Lima
Cold snowy winters and humid summers, with a large base of aging furnaces and undersized condensers. Our Lima teams are set up for exactly that: rapid response, flat-rate pricing quoted before work begins, and no surprise overtime charge for nights or weekends.
Because Ohio swings between seasons quickly, a lot of our Lima calls come in the first hot or cold snap of the year — systems that sat idle for months and then get asked to run flat out.
If your system is over ten years old and you have had two repairs in the last two seasons, a replacement comparison is usually worth running even if the current unit still runs.

Lima45805 HVAC questions, answered
What brands do you service in Lima?
All of them. Our 45805 technicians are trained on Bryant, Mitsubishi Electric, Carrier, American Standard and essentially every other residential brand sold in Ohio, including discontinued lines. We keep a broad parts catalogue on the trucks for exactly that reason.
How much does an HVAC service call cost in 45805?
A diagnostic visit in Lima typically runs $75 to $150, and that fee is usually applied toward the repair if you approve the work. Repair prices are quoted as a flat rate before we start, so the number you approve is the number you pay regardless of how long the job takes.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
We can give you realistic ranges — and this page lists the ones homeowners in Lima see most often — but a firm price needs eyes on the equipment. Any company that quotes a final number without seeing the unit is usually quoting low to get through the door.
What causes water to leak from the indoor unit?
Almost always a blocked condensate drain line, a failed drain pan float switch, or a frozen coil melting faster than the pan can handle. In Lima we see algae and dust clogging drain lines constantly during June through August. It is a fast fix but ignoring it ends in ceiling damage.
Are your technicians licensed and insured?
Every technician dispatched into Lima is licensed, insured and background-checked. We can provide proof of insurance on request before the visit if you would like it on file.
Should I repair my system or replace it?
The usual rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than half the price of a replacement and the equipment is over ten years old, replacement generally wins. We will run that comparison with you on site and show you the maths — and if the honest answer is a $180 capacitor rather than a $9,000 system, that is the answer you get.
